Who is Nickolas Harold Potter?
A screenwriter who sees beyond the page.
Nickolas Harold Potter is a screenwriter, producer and story developer with more than four decades of experience shaping material for film and television.
His work extends beyond writing into development, production, financing, marketing and sales. That wider perspective matters. It means a story is considered not only for what reads well, but for what can be made, positioned and understood by the people who move projects forward.
Across that career, he has developed more than 50 screenplays and worked throughout the practical life of film and television projects. He understands the creative decisions that make a story compelling on screen, as well as the production and commercial questions that determine how a project can move from the page into the world.
He works directly with authors, screenwriters and creators at very different stages — from an early idea or lived experience to a published book, a screenplay in need of development or an existing film project looking for sharper focus.
